Natural Vitamin E Face Mask Recipes

If there’s one vitamin you need for healthy skin, it’s vitamin E. Being one of the most important vitamins, it can help nourish the skin from within and maintain healthy skin by fighting damaging free radicals. There’s many benefits of vitamin E, such as it being moisturising and protecting, so why not boost your skin and create your own vitamin E face mask?

We’ve put together a few DIY face mask recipes you could try at home:

Papaya & Vitamin E Cleansing Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp papaya pulp
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 15-20 drops of vitamin E

Pour 15-20 drops of vitamin E oil in a bowl along with the papaya pulp and rose water and mix well. Apply evenly over your face. Allow to dry for about 10 minutes and wipe away with a warm flannel. The combination of papaya and vitamin E will help to moisturise and nourish the skin, while the rose water adds a glow to your face.

Green Tea & Vitamin E Anti-Aging Mask

Ingredients:

  • Cup of green tea
  • 2-3 tsp rice flour
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 10-15 drops of vitamin E oil

Brew a cup of green tea and let it cool until room temperature. Grab a bowl and take the rice flour, honey and vitamin E and mix it with some of the green tea until it turns into a paste. Apply evenly on your face and allow to dry for 10 minutes. Wipe away any residue with a warm flannel. Green tea has amazing anti-aging benefits with nutrients that help delay the appearance of aging; the vitamin E has antioxidant benefits to boost new skin cell growth and maintain healthy skin.

Banana and Vitamin E Nourishing Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2-3 vitamin E capsules

Prick open the vitamin E capsules to extract the oil and combine with half a mashed banana. Mix together thoroughly and apply an even layer over the face. Leave for 15-20 minutes until it is dry and wipe away with a warm flannel. Banana is a great source of potassium which is an essential mineral to treat dehydrated skin. Vitamin E, being known as an important vitamin to maintain nourished skin, will maximize the benefits to restore healthy skin.

Egg and Vitamin E Refreshing Face Mask

  • 1 whisked egg
  • 1 tsp yogurt
  • 1 vitamin E capsule

Combine a whisked egg with a tablespoon of yogurt and extract one vitamin E capsule into the mix. Apply on face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wipe away with a warm flannel. Eggs are a great way to tighten and clear pores, with the vitamin E helping to keep skin hydrated, soothed and protected.
